         <title>Olympic Swimmer Dara Torres Joins the RHSB</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p>We are thrilled to have recently added 5-time Olympic swimmer, <a href="http://www.rhspeakers.com/speaker.php?sid=132">Dara Torres</a>, to our ever-growing roster.

<p>Torres, who won three silver medals at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, is the author of <em>Age is Just a Number</em>. In it, Torres discusses her Olympic comeback as a new mother at the age of forty-one. Her next book, <em>Gold Medal Fitness</em>, a memoir about staying fit and pursuing your dreams, will be available in May.</p>

         <title>Edwidge Danticat becomes a MacArthur Fellow!</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.rhspeakers.com/speaker.php?sid=73">Edwidge Danticat</a>, author of <em>Brother, I'm Dying</em>; <em>Breath, Eyes, Memory</em>; and several other titles, just won a <a href="http://www.macfound.org/site/c.lkLXJ8MQKrH/b.3599935/k.66CA/MacArthur_Foundation_Home.htm">MacArthur Foundation</a> fellowship, nicknamed the "Genius Award". This prestigious honor comes with a $500,000 prize and was awarded to 24 winners this year, including painter Rackstraw Downes and writer Deborah Eisenberg.
