RH Speakers September Bookshelf

September 4, 2012

School is back in session! As back-to-school assignments kick into full gear, we have our own reading list to share with you this fall. Here are the latest titles from our speakers this month:

September 4th heralds the publication of two titles for political buffs. From Scott Reynolds Nelson is his work of nonfiction, A Nation of Deadbeats, which details the financial history of the United States. Described by The New York Times Book Review as, “Intelligent and often brave…audacious…important,” Alan Wolfe’s Political Evil also hits shelves in paperback in the beginning of the month.

Lee Child is back again on September 11th with the latest in his Reacher series, A Wanted Man. You won’t be able to put it down!

On September 18th, from Andrew Carnegie Medal Award-winner Robert K. Massie comes the paperback publication of New York Times bestseller Catherine the Great, along with the re-published hardcover editions of three classic biographies, Nicholas and Alexandra, Peter the Great, and The Romanovs. The works are a perfect gift for collectors.

Also on shelves mid-month is the paperback version of Simon Sebag Montefiore’s bestseller Jerusalem, picked by former President Bill Clinton as one of the best books of 2011.
