If you’re one of those people who always needs to read the book before seeing the movie, you better get started now before Cutting for Stone hits the big screen. Anonymous Content, the company responsible for Babel and Rendition, announced this week that they've snagged the rights to the novel. Anonymous' Rosalie Swedlin and Steve Golin will produce the screen adaptation. On Tuesday, Swedlin told Variety Magazine, ''Dr. Verghese's wonderful novel evokes a world so vivid and populated with such rich characters, I knew I wanted to see it come alive onscreen.''
